NEURON PRIZE FOR CONNECTING SCIENCE AND BUSINESS
We are thrilled to announce that the prestigious Czech NEURON Prize for Connecting Science and Business was awarded to representatives of Lipidica a.s.
The primary shareholders of the company are FONS JK Group, a.s. and the University of Pardubice. A diagnostic method for the early detection of pancreatic cancer based on lipidomic blood analysis was developed under the leadership of prof. Michal Holčapek at the University of Pardubice.
The award was jointly received by Ing. Zdeněk Jirsa (FONS JK Group, Lipidica), prof. Ing. Michal Holčapek, Ph.D., and Ing. Ondřej Peterka, Ph.D. (University of Pardubice, Lipidica).
